"New, Improved & Beyond: Pre-Contest Diet ( 2004 Mr. Olympia)
This is my pre-contest diet that I started Saturday, August 7th, for this year's Mr. Olympia. I am switching it up slightly this year and have decided to begin my diet 12 weeks out from the show instead of the usually 16 weeks that I have done in the past. >> I am a very lean 297 lbs<<. as I begin this diet.
You will notice that I have three different days, ie. a low carb day, an extremely low carb day and a high carb day. My schedule below outlines how I will rotate these days.
I will keep everyone posted on my progress and any changes to this strategy as they occur.
Schedule:
Day 1: Low Carb Day; Train & 30 minutes of cardio
Day 2: Low Carb Day; Train
Day 3: Extremely Low Carb Day; 30 minutes of cardio
Day 4: High Carb Day; Train
Day 5: Low Carb Day; Train & 30 minutes of cardio
Day 6: Extremely Low Carb Day; 30 minutes of cardio
Low Carb Day :
Meal 1:
12 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup oats, 1 banana, 1 tbsp of honey.
Meal 2: 2 scoops of NITRO-TECH & 1 scoop of CELL-TECH.
Train
Meal 3: 3 scoops of NITRO-TECH & 2 scoops of CELL-TECH.
Meal 4: 8 oz. of turkey breast, 2 cups of rice & broccoli.
Meal 5: Same as Meal 4.
Train
Meal 6: 3 scoops of NITRO-TECH & 2 scoops of CELL-TECH.
Meal 7: 10 oz of top round steak & broccoli.
Meal 8: 3 scoops of NITRO-TECH.
Meal 9: 12 egg whites.
Meal 10: 3 scoops of NITRO-TECH.
Extremely Low
Carb Day :
Cardio
